With Election Day nearly three months away, Republican volunteers spent yesterday mobilizing voters in Ohio’s Eighth Congressional District fed up with President Obama’s failed record on jobs and the economy.  Reuters reports “thousands of Republican volunteers braved scorching temperatures to knock on doors and canvass voters on Saturday” in Ohio and “a dozen battleground states expected to see close contests in the Nov. 6 election.”

Rough Landing: President Obama Jets Into Ohio Air Base Threatened by Looming Defense Cuts

President Obama flew in and out of the Mansfield-Lahm Air Base today for a campaign rally without addressing the future of hundreds of local jobs that would be eliminated under his FY 2013 budget.  For Ohio military families, the President’s silence only creates more uncertainty about looming cuts that could hurt thousands of troops and jeopardize national security.

Boehner Talks Harmful Regs, Small Business Tax Hikes on Cincinnati’s 55KRC

Study: President Obama’s Tax Plan Threatens 700,000 Jobs

President Obama’s tax plan could destroy 700,000 jobs and lead to lower wages, according to a new study by respected accounting firm Ernst & Young.  Congressman Boehner quickly seized on the report – which directly contradicts President Obama’s claims that his plan would do little harm to small business – to reinforce that massive tax hikes are “one of the worst possible ideas at one of the worst possible times.”

In the Obama Economy, More and More Americans Are Looking to Canada For Jobs
